Our Story
Karen Brouwer
Karen is a small-town girl with a huge heart. When she got married and had her two boys, she knew that having a balanced home life was the most important thing in the world to her. So she left her career in the medical field and started a business cleaning homes. She poured her love into every house she entered as if it were her own, and eventually developed a highly professional system of home cleaning. After a decade of caring for her client’s homes, she knew she wanted to expand her business. She met Stephanie while volunteering at their boy’s school and they became instant friends. Stephanie had just launched Lavender & Lemon when they met, and they both knew they would be so much stronger together than apart.
Today Karen oversees all of the Lavender & Lemon team members. She provides them with training on how to complete cleans to the highest standards and ensures that elite-level quality is delivered at every cleaning attempt.
Stephanie Donelle
Stephanie, although from the bigger city of London, ON also has a heart of gold. She grew up with a love for cleaning and organizing and never outgrew it. She has a passion for health and wellness and believes strongly in the importance of natural cleaning for both the health benefits to everyone as well as the environmental benefits.
As an aspiring entrepreneur, Stephanie saw the need for natural home cleaning services in her new hometown of Stratford, ON. She designed a completely all-natural cleaning method using Norwex and Young Living products that could be applied to any home or office clean and Lavender & Lemon Cleaning Co. was born.
Today she and her husband, Craig, manage the company together in partnership with Karen. Stephanie is the first point of contact for new clients and a customer relations expert for all of Lavender & Lemon’s loyal clients.
